Diamond Journals

Diamond journals are peer reviewed scholarly journals that are free to publish in and free to read. They are often community driven, published by academics, scholarly societies and associations. They can serve niche fields or be regional specific and editors have more scope to publish the research they think is important for their communities.

This is a list of New Zealand’s diamond journals – most run by Aotearoa New Zealand editorial teams. They are hosted by a variety of societies and institutions across the motu and cover a wide range of research topics.
